Frames & prescriptions
What we work with

We focus on everyday single-vision glasses. Here’s what we currently support.

Frames we support
  • Full-rim plastic eyeglass frames
  • Full-rim metal eyeglass frames
  • Most semi-rimless frames
  • Everyday sunglasses with prescription lenses
  • Designer frames you already own
Frames we don’t handle (yet)
  • Safety glasses or ANSI-rated PPE
  • Prescription inserts for goggles or masks
  • Smart glasses (Meta, Google, etc.)
  • Extremely warped, cracked, or heavily damaged frames
Prescription limits (single vision)

We generally support most single-vision prescriptions between approximately −10.00 to +6.00 sphere and up to −4.00 cylinder. If your prescription is outside this range, we may contact you before making lenses or decline the order if it wouldn’t be safe or cosmetically acceptable.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to send my frames first?

Place your order first, then use the prepaid label we email you. Your prescription is verified when your frames arrive at the lab.

What prescriptions do you support?

Most single-vision prescriptions in roughly the −10.00 to +6.00 range with up to −4.00 cylinder. If yours falls outside that, we’ll contact you before making lenses.

We inspect every frame on arrival. If your frame is damaged, brittle, or not safe for new lenses, we’ll let you know before any lenses are made and talk through options.
